The focus of this master class is on an in-depth examination of the tradition of French romantic and symphonic organ music. Among other things, the following aspects will be covered: Touch and playing technique, agility, articulation, phrasing, breath control, the art of registration, memory techniques, musicological source studies, mental practicing without an instrument and work analysis.

The focus is on works by César Franck, Charles-Marie Widor, Louis Vierne, Charles Tournemire, Marcel Dupré, Jehan Alain and Maurice Duruflé
